The Kagumo-ini coffee factory is located near the town of Mathioya, in Kenya's Nyeri region. It services 6100 active small farmers that all congregate regularly to share their experiences on the land with each other. The farmers in the area grow Batian, Ruiru and SL28 varieties.

The Coffee is delivered to the factory door and depulped same day. It is then immersed in water to ferment overnight. The following day it is then left to dry ferment before being put on raised African beds to dry for between 8-12 days.

We love this coffee for its complexity and juicy blackcurrant flavours.
