The Kainamui factory is in the highlands of Ngariama collects coffee from approximately 1800 small holder producers, of that around 600 are women. The average farm size is less than a hectare with 200 fruit bearing trees scattered between Grevillea, Macadamia, Eucalyptus and Banana plants. 

Undergoing washed process this coffee is mechanically pulped and immersed in water. It’s then left in parchment for 12-72 hours to dry ferment. Expect to taste white sugar, blackberries and sweet citrus in this delightful coffee roasted for filter.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
We were fortunate enough to collaborate with artist Easty Beasty based in Tamarama, Sydney. This original piece is is a play on the the vibrant purple blackberries and citrus reflected from this coffee. Her favourite pastime is painting on surfboards, creating lino prints and designing stickers in her beautiful flat by the sea. Her work is influenced by the balancing act between old wisdom and feverish youth Her work can be viewed through her instagram @whoiseasty
